Auto Accident Attorney

An accident can occur without being caused by anyone.  More commonly, an auto accident occurs because the driver of one of the vehicles was not being careful.  In some states, there is a requirement that a person suffer a permanent injury before they can recover damages from the person who injured them.  (A permanent injury is one that will remain throughout the injured person’s life).  In the states that do not have a permanent injury requirement, juries do not award significant damages unless there has been a significant injury.

Thankfully, in most auto accidents the people involved do not suffer serious injuries.  Unfortunately, in some collisions, the forces are so great that the injured people will be disabled for the rest of their lives.  Some of these severe injuries are broken bones, scarring, amputation injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries.

For many years I have represented the families of people who have been seriously injured in auto accidents.  I have represented families in California, Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.  I would welcome the opportunity of meeting with you, at a place most convenient to you, so that we can discuss your rights.

“What I really liked about JD was he didn’t “juicy” up the case, he was very honest from the get go. I had fired other attorneys who had not been up front with me."

"JD kept me well informed and didn’t do anything without talking to me first. The settlement exceeded my expectations. And I appreciated that JD let me make the decision to settle the case or go to trial."
